Love is Undefinable

Love is when two hands make one
Under a bright new sunlight.
Love is an equalizing force
That allows true freedom in oneself.
Love is not an obligation
Or a series of duties.
Love is everything and nothing
But is felt intuitively.
Love is not a list of likes and dislikes
To put a name and face to.
Love is not special in that it is unique--
But it is unique in that it is special.
Love is not hard to come by
Nor is it hard to feel.
Love is not this or that
To place in one neat box.
Love is big and small
And it is in us all.
Love is not something to use for gain
And it is not discarded after usage.
Love is not in our control
And it does not leave after we are through.
Love is not felt in speech
But it can be witnessed in action.
And love can be expressed in many ways
Some conventional and usual,
While others cannot be understood
Because they are meant for someone special.
