That last kiss

by sarah   Jul 1, 2004

You start to cry as he goes out the door
Your upset as your emotion soar
You run after him with tears down your cheek
The words you say mumble as you speak
"Dont leave me, dont go!" you cry
"Without you I might as well die"
He suddenly stops...he is so cold
You give him his ring, he looks so old
You place it on his hand and give him a kiss
"Your going to be the one I miss"
As you whisper I love you into his ear
You shed one final good-bye tear
There is only silence; there is no sound
As he gets placed into the cemetery ground
