Sable Eyes

by Maple Tree   Feb 21, 2013

Allow me to moon over
sable shades of your
optical, ghostly shadow.

Night causes indifference
tween a prowler and the
hunted, amazing the pair
of how much alike they
truly are.

Sipping lemon water
with a kick of curiosity
I vision the hallucinations
within your ocean,
together we drown in
the sea of turmoil,
arriving at the bottom
of our twisted nightmares.

You're dark pieces always make me shiver. They just seem so real and something about them just makes me go cold. I guess that's the point of dark poems.

    Amazing portrayal here.
