Decadent Beauty

by Daylight Lucidity   Feb 22, 2013

Delicate, decadent, beauty of my forlorn heart
I beg to all the Gods for you to come back to me
From this horrid, unforgivable world you depart
As you throw yourself over the sea.

The beast within us all severed your sanity
I fall upon my withered knees and sob crimson tears
With your untimely death there is incredible agony
Your absence from my terrifyingly lonely life lets me drown in fear.

Demons swam across your unique eyes
Clouded they became, full of despair
You became accustomed to everyone's lies
My soul was never enough to cure your loveless affair.

I will pay any cost to any being to somehow make it right
To bring you back into my empty arms,
I whisper into the charcoal black night
That, for you, I'll gladly embrace the terrible storm.

Where has my love gone might a simpleton ask
I stare into their eyes, my own on fire,
My love threw herself into the sea on a night so cold in the past
Now my own life hangs in dangers so dire.

Ok this one so so full of passion and sadness. I love how you sprinkle a little bit of sadness to your love poems. Thats what draws me in. Your word play is excellent andyour flow is flawless. I love your rhyming too. It hurts to lose the one we love. You hooked me into your poems.. must read more lol 5/5
