Last Rays

I slice once more
as more blood falls
to the floor.
I only wish I could've
held on for you,
instead of saying I would've.

I'm sorry but I can't live any longer
my soul has never grown stronger.
So this dawn I'll see
the last sun to shine rays
onto my cold,
bloodless face.
