I read it during the contest and was impressed. I am not going to do an in depth analysis, just wanted to say that you did a wonderful job with the metaphor and your words are real sounding, not fabricated, your words are believable. The reader is presented with images and emotions that (forgive the repeat) are real. Very well done.

I must say i gave a cursory reading and in so doing i think caught your deeper intent than what the content of the poem might suggest.that is...what i see is an inspired PERSON who happened to write a poem.your cup ran over and spilled out words.a lovely accident that genuinely gives me pleasure
