Plea

by Daylight Lucidity   Feb 25, 2013

Little by little I gain which was lost,
My soul, my all, amongst crushed dreams
But how much must this all cost
To repair all of the torn seams?
I beckon to sweet, sweet despair
To guide me to my heaven's arms
Might I end where I began, within death's glare
To be freed with all promises burned.
Love, it silently, subtly tears me down
For it cares only to break me
To watch me struggle in cold waters and drown
Only to make me suffer oh so slowly.
Poison drips undetected in frozen veins
Passion given definition:
A fiery, unneeded pain
To take leave I beg helplessly for permission.
Fallen before a monster of an angel,
I stay upon my bruised and bloodied knees
For I am ordered to die upon them, chains dangle,
My last words a mere plea in the chilling breeze.
Encaged by my own mind
Enraged by lovers who left me to die alone
Despair in each tear spilled by which I am defined
With a heart chiseled from a blackened stone.
The darkness wakes me from endless time
I await the day I learn
And find a new mountain to climb
But I still make the same mistakes, for sanctity I yearn.
Fallen before a monster of an angel,
I stay upon my bruised and bloodied knees
For I am ordered to die upon them, chains dangle,
My last words a mere plea in the chilling breeze.

Within every scar, healing dwells. Just after pain, comes a good share.
