Beautiful Death

by Daylight Lucidity   Feb 25, 2013

To love Death would be the simplest task,
For I would give anything to break from my past
Might I take his skeletal hand
With my own, would he kill me mercifully, I've had more pain than I can stand...
I welcome his blackened cloak,
His scythe dripping with my soul
I offer it to him, the scars decorating my arms soak
Through my sleeves, they ooze blood once more.
Breathing in his presence I grow dizzy
For he leaks poison from every bone, Death becomes pretty
He is but a black rose of which I adore
An escape from pain I can no longer endure...
Might Death become my lover,
May I stay with him for the rest of time
He rids me of pain like no other
And for the people I leave behind, I hope to do the same.
