For Connor

by Jenni Marie   Feb 27, 2013

I learned from a two year old, never leave
them unattended. If it's too quiet it's because
they're doing something they shouldn't be.
If you can't hear them it's because
they're rooting through the things they are
not allowed near.
I learnt not to give them leeway for
they will use it against you and most
certainly will remind you of the times
you previously let their misgivings go.
I learnt not to give food or drinks
that stain. And I learned that a two year
old, will always get away with wrongdoings
with a cute smile, innocent laugh and a tender
I love you.

Aww, This is cute...and so true.
As an auntie to 4, and one of them being the cutest 2 year old ever, I understand this and it made me smile. Plus, I work with children and some of them are that cute that you can't be mad for long.

    Really cute write

Awh this is soooo cute!!!! :) i mean it's true and it tells the reader what you have gone through as a mother and in my opinion there are times you can give a child leeway...in certain places in childhood anyways! 5/5
