Collectives

by Michael D Nalley   Feb 28, 2013

Oh Israel had its tribes
the Scottish had clans
and the English tried
to put an end to their plans

The antelope had herds
a Lion had a pride
the crusaders had the words
of a Pope on their side

The British taxed the tea,
the colonist rebelled,
the Americans were free,
the natives were expelled.

One nation is under God,
have the collectives heard,
or was it all just a facade.
Is the constitution now absurd?
