Who is she?

by Love Hurts   Mar 1, 2013

Lifeless brown eyes stare back at me.
Who is she?
Torn clothing, knotted hair.
A girl broken with despair.
Pale skin drawn across her bones, so thin.
Faint scars speak of a hidden past,
but no ones listening.
Deep black shadows etched under her eyes,
too many sleepless nights.
And those eyes, so haunted yet blank.
No sign of tears, no signs of pain.
But she's dieing inside, you'll see.
Just wait.
But who is this girl?
Then only do I realize
This girl who is staring back at me with death in her eyes
is only my reflection.

It helps to know someone is there, even if they can't stop what's happening. Thank you
