Whilst we may constantly try to outdo one another
Know, that I care deeply for you; you've become a close friend
and whilst I have so much fun constantly irritating you
your friendship is something I would surely recommend

Of course, I may often put you down whilst continously
calling you name after name, but you should realize
you make me smile and giggle often, and I value your input
though these emotions are often hidden in disguise

I mean it when I say you're amazing or awesome
and maybe I do trust you more than you recognise
Sometimes I think about being nicer but then realize
I have way more fun when I constantly chastise

But know that it's in jest, that I care more than I ever let on
and that I would never purposefully offend
And I'm asking you to remember this no matter what
and taking this oppurtunity to say thank you for being my friend
