Starting over with someone
I loved in the past.
Praying each moment that
the happiness will last.

Forgetting the bad times
that tore us apart.
Finding a new beginning
within each others hearts.

Feeling the love that
shows on your face.

Holding you close and
feeling your kiss.
Hoping we will always
be just like this.

We were so close to
losing it all.
One final step and
beginning the fall.

But we caught each other
right at the edge.
Standing there together
looking over the ledge.

I look in your eyes.
A love this true,
you can't disguise.

So hand in hand,
we slowly walk away.
Knowing our life has
begun on this very day.
