Loveless Spell

I thought the tittle choice was awesome and quite unique as all we ever hear is love spells.

Personally I thought in some parts were really bland
Compare to your normal guy wrenching lines,
How ever I believe it went towards your advantage
Because love is meant to be the most powerful
Spell , but loveless is only powerful in the form
Of the carrier.

It's somthing at first I thought i would be critical of
But I believe you created a unique , relatable piece.

Ok, first off I really really like your title choice. It just is very fitting but also eye catching. Normally it is a love spell in a good way but the idea of the spell being loveless is very unique and I love it.

Managing to go on without your company has
left me trapped in state of illusion, where my
mind imagines the way you might feel beside
me. I don't like these visuals, in fact

I'm angered by their habit.

- so straight away we can see the poem is about a lost relationship and the affects it has had on your life. I liked the wording in the way that you are almost battling with these images and the emotions because you do not want to admit these or show the other person that this is the truth.

Hours left awake, thoughts travel to your
face and all I do is stare. No sounds, no
words, I don't even reach out for your
touch, just glimpse at counterfeit eyes.

A magical display of false hope.

- this interested me because I am not sure if this was a past thought/memory that you remember, or if this is how you are imagining it would be now if they were beside you like you previously mentioned. Either way it creates the impression that the relationship had its flaws and that although together you were both drifting apart quite far.

Why has your impact dented my spirit
and bruised my heart? I was not ready
for daydreams or any other after math
your trance, your contagion, left me in.

to get this spell to break.

- This confirms my thought about trying to deny they have impacted you in such a way that you feel under a spell. Unable to break free fromt he trance. I think this shows what most of us go through when any relationship departs and we find ourselves angry because we would like to think ourselves as not being affected by someone who could hurt us this much, but the human mind deceives us and can show us how we really feel even when we do not want to.
