Is this life

Is this life
is this what I'm ment to do
sit in my dark room
wishing there was more
woundering if life is worth it
can only be happy when I'm stoned or bleeding
always losing the ones I love
am I ment to be this sad
I don't see what else I can lose
I have already lost everything
lost my heart
lost my daughter
lost my fiancé
lost my hope
lost my faith
I lost it all
the only thing keeping me alive is a dream
a dream that I hope will come true
all I know is
if this is life then I'll say good bye

    Life is a harsh reality. Dreams only make it worse because we dream of a reality we don't have. Life is a scale of the lost and the gained. Right now, your lost side is much heavier but that leaves much more room for your gaining side to be filled. You have gained the love and trust of many people who would hate to see you say goodbye to this ill-fated world. Give time a chance to heal the wounds it has caused.
    And about the poem, I think it is amazing. Love it.
