For Sonja (Part 55)

by ntv650   Jul 1, 2004

Unlike the sunset my love wont seem to fade
So I live on in this fantasy, reality escaping us both
And I ask myself when I will next see your pretty face
Hopefully you wont forgot me until that day

Im drowning in dreams because I cant avoid
That avid stare you give me when we lock eyes
Along with all the faint possibilities of a chance
A sensational hysteria overwhelms my senses

When youre around my world sings and dances
And it doesnt take long before I loose control
Touching you suddenly seems like reaching the sky
All these things apparently invisible to the others eyes

Simple words made magical by your tender lips
And there is no horizon where you direct your steps
If I had the chance to speak to you before you left
I would explain in silent words why I need you to stay

Because the thought of never seeing you again
Terrifying as it might be it doesn?t compare
To the fear of only reaching you in vain
Or loosing you in this world of agony and despair
