Thoughts race in my head
Everything that was done and said
The anger on your face
Made my heart start to race
As I gulped down the fear
I hold back the tears
You scream at me to leave
Your cruel words twisted and mean
Then you say I don't care
When I turn to leave
You say" so that's how it's going to be?"
I go numb
So I will no longer care
As the end of us near
I know it's time to let you go
So I say" ok"
Telling you I can't stay
So yes......
