Acid

by sleepingwithsirensfanatic   Mar 9, 2013

He beckons, and he calls
She gives him her all
She holds his hand and smiles through the lies
Hoping someone look into her eyes
Finally answer her silent cries
He bruises and burns her
Hit and hurts her

Tells her she will live on through a memory
But he doesnt know she is already dead
You cant ask of the body something that has already been taken
One night he gives her a coke, tells her not to choke
She wishes she would,
if only she could

He says "Drink this and the past will be gone and you will live on, in a different world without me holding you back."
She drank the coke...
Less than an hour later she is in wonderland
She was Alice.

The rest of the night she chooses to forget.
She wakes up in a ditch on the side of the highway.
No longer wishing she was dead.
Her soul never the same, but her body remains.
She never saw the man again.
But he will live on through a memory.

She is Alice and acid is her wonderland.
