Singing rose (triple lanturne)

by Masked metaphor   Mar 11, 2013

Rose
Petals
Blooming in
A welcoming
Spring

Red
Colors
Revealing
Secrets of the
Heart

Beats
Dancing
Within me
As rose petals
Sing.

This is beautiful, I like the imagery of spring time setting in and the seasons changing, I think it expresses in a way what it feels and means to you as well.

Love that stanza, it's really vivid and magical. You always just know how to paint a picture for the reader within their mind. One of the greatest poets I have ever come into contact with, keep writing.

Great job with the syllable count (I always find that so challenging) and yet getting your story ot beautifully. Excellent choice of style, these kind of pieces are not often found here on poems and quotes. I really like it.

    Great piece.
