Pushing me Down

by ShAtTeRrEdTeArZ   Jul 1, 2004

My phone rang yesterday
Every time I hear it I
Always hope it's you
The day that we first met
Replays everyday
And I keep hoping
That you'll come back someday
I miss you more than
You will ever know

You were there to help me up
Whenever I fell down

So now that I'm falling
Why won't you catch me?
Remember when you helped me up?
Instead of pushing me on down
When you would hold my hand
And pull me right through
And you would wipe away my tears
Yet now your the one
Who is pushing me down

Remember how you put a smile on my face
How you would call me everyday
Always think of something sweet to say
You promised you would always hold me when I cry
But how can you stop me from crying?
When your the one who made me cry?
You used to be the one to pick me up
But your the one who pushed me down

You were always there to help me up
Whenever I fell down

So now that I'm falling
Why won't you catch me?
Remember when you helped me up?
Instead of pushing me on down
When you would hold my hand
And pull me right through
And you would wipe away my tears
Yet now your the one
Who is pushing me down

Remember the way you kissed me
That very first time
How we held each other
And all the things you promised me
And everything you said
Remember how I always went to you
If I needed any help
It all ended so soon
And oh, how I miss you

You were always there to help me up
Whenever I fell down

So now that I'm falling
Why won't you catch me?
Remember when you helped me up?
Instead of pushing me on down
When you would hold my hand
And pull me right through
And you would wipe away my tears
Yet now your the one
Who is pushing me down

So now that I'm falling
Why won't you catch me?
Remember when you helped me up?
Instead of pushing me on down
When you would hold my hand
And pull me right through
And you would wipe away my tears
Yet now your the one
Who is pushing me down

And now your the one,
Who is,
Pushing me down....
