A moment from reality

by lillie   Mar 12, 2013

I've been staring at the clock of which is green.
The clock ticks, as I picture a perfect scene.

I've become beautiful, right in front of you.
Your palm becomes attached to mine like glue.

Blonde hair, and navy blue eyes, staring back at me.
My pearly teeth smeared across my face, with you I feel so free.

The O.C. beach waves crash into each other so hard.
Bare feet in the sand, I allow you to kiss me, without any guard

Your perfect porcelain skin, touches upon mine.
We were friends, but our heart have crossed that line.

Like Peter Pan, we fly away to never land together.
To a place we call our own as you whisper,
"darling I want you forever"

People passed by the sand which the water ate,
With our fingers we signed our love with what was known as fate

Flying away to paradise, our lips separate, as we hit realty.
Without a care, it was an expression of our sexuality.

You fell in love with me, and I fell in love with you forever.
Our names engraved in the sand, as we were together.

It all becomes a blur, my eyes look back at the clock.
It was but a thought in my mind, instantly my heart tightened like a rock.

Our love, a thought of what may come my way.
But for now I am alone, up until that day.

    This rhymed really well, Olga.

The setting is one I love: the beach. I live so nearby, just a 10 minute drive:)

Your prince will come, I have no doubts about that!

    Well done,
