Woe

by Maple Tree   Mar 12, 2013

Worry doth not find me bathing
in a cave of sleepless nights,
saturated with countless dreams.

I welcome a day when morning sings
a peaceful sunrise, talking branches
embrace the walk of a strong woman.

Leaving behind a soul of beauty,
becoming a widow, veiled in black
is something I read about, not live.

I walk a nightmare today, but not alone.

Ouch. The fact that I love you so much pains me to read such poems from you....

I thought that second stanza was so beautiful, but crushing for those of us who know your story...because 1. the use of "I welcome", is just your sweet kind spirit shining, and the fact that its almost sarcastic shows of your frustration with your situation of darkness.....

I really think this poem is just gorgeous to be honest....its sad, but very breath taking.

Think positive and love every minute with James,
this touched me, this made me tear up,
Oh, I love you Andrea, this write was precious, but oh so beautiful too.

The sadness is evident, the hope is strong, and the beauty is breathtaking.
