I wish I could have one of those days

I can see a couple walking on a beach, holding hands, picking up shells, stopping and letting the little waves wash over their feet. Each lost in thought with their own memories of the love they share and the memories they have made and those yet to come.

I like how you have fixed each of your feelings to the mood of nature.

Can I feel a little bit stronger

^^Interesting way to start a poem by posing a question to the reader perhaps or to one self.

There were days I wish were longer
As I walked in the sand with the sun over head
The breeze held me tight, saying we could do it again

^^I like this scene here with you walking along the shore with as the sun begins to set and thoughts swirling inside you. An answer to the opening line...nice one.

Looking toward the horizon I felt more alive
Life was a spectacle, as we head to the skies
Arrays of colors, and clouds of every kind
Free without weight we treasured our finds

^^Here I could imagine the writer flying away high with love where the weight of reality is left behind and enjoying the beauty of peace and life.

Although I was slow, I know we will never forget
The memories shared with so little regret
I love you now, and will love you forever
As the sun rises and sets, we will always remember

^^I feel like this love is something that was not meant to happen but it happened and you found joy in it. It is a love you cannot forget; this love may have left you but you hold on to its memories..well that is what I got out of it.

All in all a nice write where nature and feelings are weaved together with memories...take care and keep penning.
