Most of the time I will NOT read nature poems, I don't know why, this one reminded me just how much I enjoy them. There's a certain flavor or essance that other poems just can't have.

Anyway on to this piece, oh my! It is simply stunning!!!! It made me think, it was descriptive, and it showcased a wonderful author's voice. There is style, rhythm, flow, everything, excellent write. Personification is fun, that really shows here.

If the wind could whisper words in my ear, what would its voice sound like?
Gentle or melodic, would it soothe me to sleep,
cradling me softly in its calming breeze or
would it blow me away with a whooshing squeeze?

^^ Most artistic lines in the entire piece - in my mind.

If the wind could cry, I wonder what it would cry about,
I wonder if the rain that pours are its tear drops...

^^ I often write lines like this one, so no surprise here, ut this is my favorite stanza.

    Amazing.

    Oh such a beautiful piece!
"If the wind could show emotions, would it be happy or sad?
Would it always be angry or does it feel beyond what we humans understand?"
This stanza characterizes the wind as a figure of wisdom, something that we humans sometimes lack.

"If the wind could laugh I wonder how it would sound,
Would it be the laugh that makes everyone laugh or
Could it be the misty silence in the laughter aftermath?"
Another great stanza! A laugh that makes everyone and anyone laugh is a rare trait. I often hear it as melodious and comforting...

"If the wind could talk, that would be the day, when pigs could fly
And dogs walk on two legs.

If the wind could talk to you what would you say?"
This made me laugh and smile and wish that such a thing were true. So much wishful thinking in this piece. Nice read!

I really enjoyed reading this... there is one mistake, just to point that out before I forget it...

If the wind could love or hate, who would it be?
How would it show its passion and furry?
    How would it feel?

    - I think you mean fury ( anger ) and not furry as in fluffy lol?

anyway, back to the poem, I really like the title because it is leaving it very open to what the poem is going to contain. I guess everyone would have their own version of this and what the wind would say to them and represent. I like how you used all the senses here like what it would sound like, look like, it made me think really deeply about the wind.

I really liked how you tried to give the wind a personal character in order to show that if it was human, it would have to be your friend or an enemy... very interesting.

I really like how it showed the wind as a gentle breeze, which could soothe you and calm you, or in a storm it showed the wind as a mighty gust which could sweep you away off your feet.

Very creative and I like your way to end in that you asked the reader their own personal approach to the answer. Perhaps we could all write our own poems about what we would hear from the wind or what we would say back to it if indeed, it spoke to us.

    Well done

I'd ask it to ask the moon how does my beloved ones do , ask it to take me up with you to take me there where i could hug their shadows tightly blue , felt beyond what words meant for you just as you do

Nature poems to me are one of the more difficult subjects to write about, and mainly something along the lines of the wind. You did a really graceful job though with this piece, it surely breathed into me as the reader and left me in awe.

The entire subjects of the wind and what would it be life if was a living thing was so well put together. I love how you give the reader the question of how would the wind look and sound to them. You aren't stating what it is but rather asking what we feel it is to us. The thing it I believe the wind has some of these feature which you are pondering, like during a hurricane or a terrible storm the wind can be our enemy but on a hot summer day it could soothe us with it's breeze and be our friend.

It may not be speaking to us in the way people can to each other but as the seasons change it's like the wind becomes more alive, I believe this anyways..

    Love it.
