Poems To Me

I dont write poems just for fun.
I dont write them because Ive got nothing better to do.
I dont wirte them for people to feel happy,sad,or mad.
I dont write them because people want me to,
and i dont write them because they dont want me to.

I write them for me.
I write them to say the things that i dont have the time or patience to tell anyone.
I write them to express the way i really feel.
I write them because its something people would never guess of me.

This is the one thing noone would ever picture me doing
no one would have thought that i had a softer side.
Thats why i write poems.
Im allowed to be a part of myself i never get to show.
In fact the whole reason i write poems is for my benefit.

Whos judging me when im writing poems? noone
Whos yelling in my ear about what i do wrong? noone
Whos controlling what it is i write? noone but me.
I write poems to channel my feelings towards the paper.
Rather im mad, happyvor sad.
You'll clearly see how i feel through what i write.
