Empty Heart

by Kips2.0   Mar 14, 2013

I don't do booze nor smoke,
But what if I do?
A fictional thought,
It's nothing but a joke.

See me, see you,
Lurking in the dark,
Those funny pretty moments
With their little bit of spark.

I sold them to the haters' and got them through,
Then they divided and conquered us;
Don't you ever blame me now,
I was just being a fool.

It would have been me,
And everything you needed,
Girl, was gonna be me!
Me, you in a tavern,
Sipping on some bourbon,
Laughing hysterically like hippies in a cavern.

Too long, so cold,
Too wrong, soon old,
And how am I supposed to live on
In this lonely dreary world?

Dark hole, black shade,
Reality, simply fade;
That's all she left behind,
Only mere huge thoughts
And a flimsy shrunk heart.

Dark hole, black shade,
Reality, simply fade;
Nothing else in mind,
Living, just living
With a black empty heart.

    This is amazing. Interesting style! It's almost like a song but you really portrayed your heartache. Brilliant write.

    This girl really got to you, I can tell.

    Eventually all pain subsides and you will be ready to welcome a new flower in your garden and be a wiser garderer at that.

    Well worded emotions,

    5/5 Ingrid
