Under the watchful eye of the moon
I sit in the gondola where we fell in love
Gazing up into the hearts of the stars
And reminisce in their luminescent glow.
I write you a letter
Hoping that you'll remember
The night when we met
And the significance it held in my heart, as do these words:

And soared with the most marvelous of birds.
Your eyes glistening in the glow of night,
I miss the way your fingers trailed over my lips
Arousing feelings I've never truly felt,
Igniting the heat of our last lingering kiss.
The beauty of Italy flows in the breeze
That followed you when you left
And I will, one day, be reunited with you, you'll see
Again I will embrace you, my love...
This letter, though short but heartfelt
Is the token of our passion
Written and signed by my hand
In the elegant script of the olden fashion.
This night held the magic it did
When we were met by Italy's elegancy
In love and forever bound together
And known in this gondola, this country, this world,
