I actually voted for this. Not many people would think to describe a mental illness in a poem contest about sickness, so I appreciated that fact. Critique: "Their always watching" should be "They're always watching." Gotta watch those there, their, and they're words. It's pretty difficult! :) "Their always watching Peering through framed glass Images from the past daunt the future You run, corner to corner Hide!" ^This is an amazing part in this poem. Not only does it describe schizophrenia or psychosis, it describes, for me - depression and anxiety. This is a multi-dimensional piece. Congratulations on the win. Very well deserved!
