A late winter night

by Henry   Mar 19, 2013

A calm and peaceful night in late winter
Gray hued sky keeps everything hidden
Covering the moon and the myriad stars
A pastoral night consoles observant eyes
Freezing breeze blows throughout the night
Delicate snowflakes fall out of the infinite sky
Tenderly blanketing new grass on the ground
Snowy paths become empty when it gets dark
Fervent street lamps radiantly dazzle the eyes
Embrace solitude during late hours of the night

Those late winter nights are the times when one seeks warmth and comfort to escape the bitter cold. But your write though paints a peaceful winter wonderland where one finds a smile..another lovely read :)
