The Lies

Whispers in my ears,
Screams of the lost souls that loved me,
haunt me still,
Every time i close my eyes I see those
painful eyes,
And
Regret took my hand in marriage,

Lost in the times of being younger,
No pain thy heart,
NO heartbreak in sight,
Just living in the time of my pitiful life,

Walking by the sea,
Calm as can be,
Time has been there to set me right,

Still being The Dark Queen,
A court seems to make the decisions that
should be my own,
Frost seems to wrap around me like a second skin,
Little by little I'm slowly fading away....
