Born to Die

Song
_____________________________________________

I've been beaten, I've been scorched
Look at my scars, they tell a better story than yours
I've been pushed down, had to fight for everything that I need
Until now, I have always landed on my own two feet
But now I finally see

--
I was born to cry
I was born with these tears running down my face
The only comfort I had, was my pain
--
I had no chance in this life
It was the cards dealt to me
So now I will pay the price
And fall asleep, fall asleep
--

I've gone through life without any love
It seems that I was never good enough
For anyone that ever got to close
So I kept trying to hold on
March to the tune of my own song
But now I finally see

--
I was born to cry
I was born with these tears running down my face
The only comfort I had, was my pain
--
I had no chance in this life
It was the cards dealt to me
So now I will pay the price
And fall asleep, fall asleep
--

The scars I bare are just too deep
The nightmares are just too real
I keep from drowning in my own blood
That fails to cease
So pour it out, pour it out

No chance, no love, no peace
I can only be me
I was born to die, born to die, born to die,
With these tears I cry, tears I cry, tears I cry

--
I was born to die
I was born with these tears running down my face
The only comfort I had, was my pain
--
I had no chance in this life
It was the cards dealt to me
So now I will pay the price
And fall asleep, fall asleep
For all eternity

    Hello my dear,

It certainly has been a while. Like you I find writing releases a little of what we need to expel.

Your song here show's just that. Scars are healed painful moments. But as you know, the invisible ones are the worst of all. When these are formed from a tender age it can feel as if we were born to die.

    Fight the fear, always.

Take care - so nice to see you back.
