MY Birthday

First off, happy birthday! I can see how you're feeling exactly, when we love someone we expect the same in return. The more love we give however, we're leading ourselves to be more vulnerable unfortunately. Your ending really reminds me of a quote I saw today though, 'sometimes we expect more from others because we would be willing to do that much for them' I feel like this really connects with your poem! I'm definitely with you, little things such as this really do mean a lot. Nice job! :)
