Cloudless Blur

by Yakori bint Muhammed   Mar 24, 2013

26th September, 2012.

Fistful of memories rustle me crispy,
in this humid enclosure of my room.
Drying up my instinctive summer that,
shines serene urge of my ambience.

Relaxing my foggy mind on sofa,
I cruised in the garden of optimism.
Lying between moon and twilight,
bound to spring blooming visions.

My wavy thoughts keep drowning me,
flowing amply a sea of tidal moments.
It is a mystic reality conforming me,
to the rippling expanse of puzzles.

I sat abruptly to a blasting sound,
ripping my body as thunder galloped.
Noon shies away from my frantic aura,
as drizzles land in my fragile heart.

My memories float at last through sky,
a blur hides my chagrin journey within.
The flight soothes my habitual mood,
chirping a merry tangle to the moods.

Beautiful poetry, Yakori, you always amaze me with how you portray your feelings. I know very well what you are trying to convey here, how life can catch you off guard and how you sometimes have to struggle to come back to your normal self again.

"Relaxing my foggy mind on sofa,
I cruised in the garden of optimism"

"I sat abruptly to a blasting sound,
ripping my body as thunder galloped."

    ^^

A very sharp contrast here, you managed to get the emotions across splendidly here!

    Very well done!

    5/5 Ingrid
