Grip Onto Life

by Jennifer Fox or Jackson   Jul 1, 2004

He grew up to be a man
making all his own decisions
leaving his home at the age of 20
he planned his life through 10 visions.

Vision 1:
He got a job
it paid real good

Vision 2:
He bought his own car
though his parents said they would

Vision 3:
He got an apartment
the rent was cheap

Vision 4:
He paid off all he owed
within just that week

Vision 5:
He met this girl
the girl of his dreams

Vision 6:
He feel in love
as it seems

Vison 7:
He married her
and bought a home

Vision 8:
He had 5 kids
he and her raised on their own

Vision 9:
The kids grew up
and lived their lives

Vision 10:
He was so happy and proud
he smiled the day he had died.

His life had been so clear
his visions he planned to start that 20th year
Though he didn't know he would die that day
Drinking and driving cost him his life to pay.
