Amaranthine

by Daylight Lucidity   Mar 28, 2013

If you, my beloved, believe
The truth rather than my attempts of scaring you away
You, my purest joy, are my amaranthine
Mythical and a dream I sob over each grim day.
I scream to the heavens above
To rip this dreaded heart from my chest
To rid me of this forsaken demon called love
And my everything with blood soaked barbs, it wickedly shreds.
I wish to live in a mocking fantasy
Where beauty flourishes continuously
Where I am embraced by my loving insanity
And where you reside, extravagant amaranthine.
A thunderous cloud looms overhead
Rumbling and booming deafeningly loud
Absorbing every crude word I've said
And raining it down upon me from every blackened cloud.
Lightning bolts illuminate the sky
Sending shivers down my back
Intimidating they strike
Followed by a thunderous crack.
In this mocking fantasy,
I ask of you to tell me
If you, my beloved, believe
The truth rather than my attempts of scaring you away
You, my purest joy, are my amaranthine
Mythical and a dream I sob over each grim day...
Might I have found you at long last?
