I love the use of the amount of time spent together and the opening with the amount of times erasing what you've penned, makes the piece much more personal, gives a true and strong insight into what this person turns you into. |

Ah this is such a joy to read Chelsey & I apologize for not commenting in so long but don't doubt that I've still been reading your poetry.... I loved how you incorporated numbers in this, and had them have their own entrance in a way with standing away from the stanzas. There's one part here that really reminds me of Joshua Bennett & one of his love poems: where you say "So tonight, I will type without craftiness and tell you, that smile of yours, should be its own galaxy.", you have such a sure voice that is speaking with passion and clarity, making me want to do the same. I love this precious moment you describe and the "holding you for 2.3 seconds", something so short in time can last and linger, reminding you what being with this person is really like. |
