In my opinion, as a writer, I write to heal. Whether it's for myself or others, I write to reveal, to explain, to inspire. Much in the way that songwriters do, novelists and artists of all forms.

I like this piece. You took a simple form and twisted it into a powerful write. And that itself is a reason for writing, making powerful words, thinking and penning those thoughts.
