Weakened heart beat for her no longer
rise, live, for you are much stronger
than the pool of tears you've let yourself become
as if she were nothing but the fiery sun
stand for your dreams, make them real
pain I tell you to no longer feel
bleed out only any tainted trust
seal the wound, do not lose too much
weakened heart, you've lost who you are
to find yourself look to the stars
for they're your heart and soul, your very essence
and ask them to burn the remnants
of any love you had for someone who hurt you
from there you know what to do.
Believe in life after love
weakened heart you are strong enough
to make it through this tough life
and push past any unreasonable strife
love will find you again if you wish
but know that there is someone you share your heart with
tell them, might you,
see if they consider you, too,
their true thing, their home,
rather than being forever alone.
