Like gold!

Like gold!

May I be so bold as to tell a story that is from old.
We are God's possession, his workmanship, more
precious to him than gold.
But we must be refined in order to make us a Jesus kind, get that on your mind!
In this refining of the wheat, we don't take pleasure in the heat.
The chaff and dross that is lost makes us pure in his sight, *we become like Jesus, to Heaven's delight!

*This is the work of God in every believer's life, it comes through various trials, some "Fiery". The trials and sufferings break our self-will, they humble us in order that we will receive grace upon grace. The believer is broken by the "Rock" of ages, Jesus but the unbeliever will be crushed.

Anyone who falls on this stone will be broken to pieces; anyone on whom it falls will be crushed." Matthew 21:44 NIV.

For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago. Ephesians 2:10 NLT.
