A Bed of Petals

by Maple Tree   Apr 1, 2013

Each tear that dances
within your fading eyes
will be used to guide
these hands of mine.

Breathlessly I calm the
earth from a brisk touch
of love, passed on from
you to me, our garden
will bloom from the bonds
of memories, laughter
and sorrow.

I'll create a flowerbed
designed for an Opera house,
as the passerby's will stand,
applause our beauty.

Every bud sprouted shall
be adorned with pixie dust
as wind chimes sway
along with your spirit that
radiates the soul.

An excellent imaginative poem. It has everything a poem should have. Interesting from beginning to end.

This is probably the most beautiful Nature poem I have ever read.

The opening Stanza was powerful and it draws you into the rest of the poem. You are a beautiful soul and a beautiful writing <3. 5/5

    Thank you Tara <3

It's written for Momma P- We had plans all winter to create a flowerbed together.. Saturday, she mentioned the flowerbed, told me I'd have to design it alone... and I cried, but I'm going to start bringing it to life this coming weekend, just how she envisioned it to be.. <3

This is beyond beautiful...it brought tears to my eyes...I'm a complete and utter wreck. :)

This touched me beyond anything but I also know it shall touch so many people and Momma P also...you're heart is open to anything, your soul is beautiful and you just radiate that positivity in everything you do.

I love this piece, it just made me appreciate everything a little more...you're awesome :)
