Thoughts of a Wiccan

A lot of times when people disagree with faith they can't have a discussion about it.. ever. But you and I always seem to be able to do so even though we believe differently. It's a respect issue, a "being a good person" issue and a lot of people don't have that anymore, regardless of (or lack of) their faith.

I agree wholeheartedly with everything that Chelsey said, she hit it spot on.

This is a beautiful testament to your faith and your self -- your spirituality is such a huge part of your makeup that it wouldn't be right for you to ever deny it. There is a difference between being quiet and ramming your spirituality down someones throat. You can discuss without being.. preachy? I guess thats the word I want to use here lol.

If I could nominate poems, I would this one.It's a beautiful poem about so much more than your literal topic, and I wish more people understood the respect you do.

I completely agree a thousand times with everyone else that has commented. This is such a purely beautiful piece! And we all have different faiths, religions, whatever beliefs we want to call upon, but they inspire us, make us who we are. And we should never live in shame or be afraid others will look at us strangely....There is so much respect in this poem & I admire it so much, I think all of us could have more because it's very easy to divide others in our minds, or form a barrier in our thoughts that we don't even recognize these people as an equal....there's such a clear meaning here that can speak to all of us. We are all united, we all have something to share. Beautifully written & I can tell straight from your soul, never stop writing! :]

I think this is the most beautiful piece I have read, and you know why, because it's real and nothing is shaded here, everything just speaks to what you believe and our beliefs should be respected and understood,

Andrea, you know I could say so much about this on a personal level because you know how I feel about the respect you and I have for one another when it comes to our spirituality, and I will say again, I love that about us...

But, I dont think you shold have to be quiet about your faith. I think there are ways to go about religion/relationships respectfully. I will boldly state my faith in Christ, as you will with nature, and I think that should not be looked down upon, because faith is what makes people happy and we should not shut people up or disrespect what makes people happy. Regardless if we agree or not.

I find this poem to be beautiful, any expression of faith, that doesn't bash another faith, is beautiful to me really.
