You're simple words and usage of sentences is really refreshing, Saffie, what I love most about this is that its real...and lately, its the real things that are speaking to me, the poems that you can just tell needed to be written, that are deep and meaningful...

Many times we are misunderstood, judged, made an example of, ridiculed, laughed at and the society we live in, and the youth of today is much more bothered by looks and clothes, and they take the front cover too seriously before looking at someone from the inside, and it is our hearts that have our beauty, it is our eyes that tell a story, it is the scars that people judge and don't understood...life is misunderstood...

You penned something from the heart, we meet people we think understand but they just pretend to, to use us, to get close and sometimes we get hurt, but we just grow from that, and at times we get discouraged from opening up, for fear of repetitiveness and being misunderstood...but you know yourself, and you are beautiful, and honest, and kind, and strong and that should be enough...

I love you, and I love this :)

This is just so raw and filled with emotional turmoil... it's written from the heart... I can feel the pain within your words. There's not much else I can say that Tara hasn't already said, except that I love you and I am wrapping you in my arms for the biggest of hugs ever... xoxoxo

Awww.. this poem affected me as I read it, because I can relate in many ways. It's upsetting when no one understands you, though you try to explain yourself. I felt the disappointment and hurt in this poem.

This poem could mean so many things... but I think that's what makes it such a relatable poem. Everyone has felt misunderstood in some way and you've captured that perfectly.

    Great job!
