I found it like a nightmare
All dark and somber around me,
It was like a cloudy afternoon
One doesn't smile spontaneously.
It was like sudden light-out
'cause you didn't come.
Then there was a sudden break
The sun to shine over the cloud;
As you came back a blissful wind
Returned and took its bout.
As you come-in the wind smelled happiness,
A glow of hope smiled back at me.
There remained no darkness whatsoever
As you came sat in front of me
And then you broke into tears.
Yet, how pathetic, I find it pleasant like
The dancing sound of dazzling drops!
Only my hands were too short
To reach you
And to wipe them out.
