This poem is interesting, you know, I like the rhymes.

but I actually like the playfulness in this poem. It's a ghost but this ghost at least to me sounds like the type that likes playing games. So if I see it from the point of view of the ghost this isn't dark, rather more child type of thing, the ghost scaring people for his enjoyment ( then I could think poor ghost no one sees him, what else can he do?).
But if I am the one experiencing what the ghost is doing... I might be scare. ahaha

Excellent poem, Robert! I believe in ghosts and have experienced them and your poem well portrays their unpredictable, elusive nature as well as the ghosts we create in our imagination when we're in the dark. Brings me back to my ghost hunting experiences. And that reference to the 'ball of florescent life' reminds me of the orbs that show up when people take pictures at haunted sites. Have had orbs show up on my own pictures too.
