Its definitely true that everything is meaningless without having someone to share it with.
I guess when I think about it, our entire lives are driven by this intrinsic need within us to feel validated by someone we concede to be 'important' or 'worthwhile'.
So it really doesn't seem strange that as soon as we feel that validation slipping away we begin to project our own insecurities onto other people.
Maybe if our minds could shutup for a minute or two, we would realize that for a moment - fleeting as it might seem - someone did see us. Maybe we just wouldn't let them stare.
