False hearts and minds

I look inside false hearts and minds trying to comprehend, that when i needed you the most you wouldnt be my friend. id gladly walk across the fire to help you if in need, you knew that in your heart and mind but could not return the deed. faithfully i still stand stronge when everyone puts u down, i hold your hand through bad and good trying hard to hide my frown. if only you could return the care i have unselfishly gave to you it would reinforce the trust i use to have in you. so many memories of years weve shared, so many ups and downs, just remember if someone lifts you up they must be on higher ground.
