Bringing Back The Color

by Maple Tree   Apr 9, 2013

I left my soul, few minutes back
crossing a transparent rainbow.

Dropped crayons out of my sack
because rainbows, can't be rainbows
without color.

Bumped into an orchid, pale as a mist
digging deep so violet hues could shine.

Burrowed sorrow in soil without brown,
dropped a few tears, for soil needs brown
in the sunset of a dying flower.
