Deep In The Woods (Acrostic)

by Maple Tree   Apr 9, 2013

Dressed in a smile, I long to feel
Emerald shades of freshly sprouts
Emerging from an unknown
Path of peace, tranquility.

Internally I die from heartbreak
Not wanting to hear "whispering goodbyes".

Tangled in webbed sorrow and anguish
Heavy weights are carried away from an
Eagle soaring in the sky.

Wishing to capture a river nearby; I spy
Owl's lurking from the bowels of a deep
Overlay of moss, where I can rest my
Drowsy eyes, awaking from this nightmare,
Sobering up, to see the sunshine once again.

*Saffie's Title Toss, thank you sweet one*
