Celebration Of Life- Mom Pike

by Maple Tree   Apr 11, 2013

I wrestled with darkness,
under a grieving moon.

Glimpse of light,
caught my eye
in attempt to
soothe a weeping
soul.

She smiled upon me
twelve hours past her
last breathe, and I knew
sorrow was to pass,

for I'm so elegantly
having a celebration of life.

Her sparkle dances within
every corner of this house,

She's home I whisper-

Smiling back at her giggle,
I smile....

Finally...a piece I could read about Momma P....

Andrea, I hope you arent mad at me for not reading your latest sad pieces on Grammy, but I was having a hard time coping with it and I can't imagine reading that it would have just broke my spirit anymore..

This here though..perfectly crafted and a great example of what we should do after death, celebrate their life..a wonderful person she was and I think you are so right...their memories are still in every corner of a house..

I love the specific notation of 12 hours after your last breath. That made it so personal and so sweet....

I love this write...still thinking and praying for your family.

    Love you!

This is Beautiful... you know she will always be there and when shes not shes dancing with her man... You know she doesnt want you in darkness only in light and she wouldnt want you to mourn only to celebrate her wonderful life...

Thinking of you all... I Love You
