Dark Guardian Angel

Within the shadows I lay.
I keep evil at bay.
Although people only see me at night.
There is no need for fright.
I am their dark angel of the night.

Only attacking the evil that preys
is the only way I survive in the days.
If only I could receive the praise
from the hearts that were raised.
